Introduction

Welcome to Nikki Albums! This is an open-source photo and video management utility custom-built for Infinity Nikki players.

When playing, Nikki's beautiful photos, styling diaries, DIY sketchings, and cinematic motion albums are saved across various local directories. Nikki Albums automatically scans and gathers these screenshots into clean, structured categories. It features multi-account isolation, smart batch duplicate cleaning, raw camera parameters decoding, and exclusive support for transforming video clips into iOS Live Photos or Android Google Motion Photos and sharing them wirelessly via local Wi-Fi.

Path Detection & Configuration

Upon launch, the application attempts to automatically locate your Infinity Nikki installation directory and identify screenshot folders:

• Server Compatibility: Supports auto-detection for both China Mainland servers (Paper Game) and Global servers.
• Manual Path Setup: If the path is not found automatically (e.g., custom drive installation), you can head to the "Settings" tab and select your game launcher directory manually.

Album Categories

The scanned images are grouped into the following major blocks, containing 19 individual albums and 3 resource sections:

• Standard Albums (19): Screenshots, DIY styling designs (DIY), Plant Dyeing (PlantDyeing), Fashion magazines (MagazinePhotos), and avatars (CustomAvatar).
• Dynamic Albums: Nikki's motion recordings (NikkiPhotos) and externally imported video files.
• Resource Zones (3): Visual illustrations, map assets, and game UI icons.

Multi-Account Management

If multiple accounts (different UIDs) have logged into the game on your computer, Nikki Albums detects them all:

• UID Dropdown: Filter and switch between UIDs via the menu at the top-left.
• Data Isolation: Photos from each account are backed up and organized into separate directory stores, preventing conflicts and overlap.

Batch Actions & De-duplication

Nikki Albums speeds up manual photo management via unified automation:

• Bulk Control: Select files to export, restore, transfer, delete, or copy them all in one click.
• Smart Duplicate Filter: When executing transfers, Nikki Albums hashes file data (MD5). If an identical file exists at the target path, it is skipped automatically to conserve storage.

Metadata Decoding

Infinity Nikki encodes active scene telemetry and capture metadata directly inside screenshot files. Nikki Albums extracts these parameters natively:

• Decode Telemetry: Click "Decode" to view the weather, time-of-day, and specific in-game coordinate vectors when the picture was captured.
• Camera & Color filters: Shows focal length, aperture size, depth-of-field, exposure values, and the exact styling filter name/intensity.
• Copy Parameters: Copy these settings with one click to share with other styling guides or replicate the same cinematic shots in-game!

Live Photo & GIF Conversion

Bring your static game screenshots back to life by packaging movement natively:

• Inputs: Convert video clips from either in-game recordings or local files into moving images.
• Formats (Live Photo / Motion Photo):
  • Apple Format: Generates a paired folder containing a .JPG cover and a .MOV short video with matching UUID.
  • Google Android Format: Generates a single .JPG file with embedded video data appended at the end of the photo file.
• GIF Export: Renders low-latency, compact GIF files perfect for posting on forums and messaging platforms.

Local Wireless Transfer

Wirelessly transfer photos and live photos without plugging in a USB cable:

1. Select Photos: Highlight the images or converted live photos in the gallery.
2. Start Sharing: Click the "Export to Network" button.
3. Start Server: The desktop client starts a local HTTP server on port 58533 and generates a QR Code and a LAN Link (e.g., http://192.168.x.x:58533).
4. Receive on Mobile: Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi/local network. Scan the QR code or type the link into your mobile browser (Safari/Chrome) to preview and download files (ZIP or custom Nikkias backups).

Importing Live Photos to iPhone (iOS)

To import Apple Live Photos, iOS requires a matching Asset ID inside both the .JPG image and .MOV video. Please choose the appropriate import scheme based on your computer's operating system:

For macOS Users

If you are using a Mac, this is the most direct and seamless importing path:

1. Export to Photo Library: Select the files in the album, and click the "Export to Photo Library" button at the bottom. The software will automatically convert them to Live Photo format and import them directly into the macOS Photos App.
2. Using iCloud Sync: If you have "iCloud Photos" enabled on both your Mac and iPhone, the Live Photo will automatically and seamlessly sync to your iOS device.
3. Using AirDrop: If you do not use iCloud Photos, you can select the Live Photo inside the macOS Photos App, right-click, and share via AirDrop to send it directly to your iPhone.

For Windows Users

If you are on Windows, choose one of the following two methods depending on your iCloud status:

Method 1: Use External Storage / USB Flash Drive (Recommended)

1. Prepare a USB flash drive or external hard drive that can connect to your iPhone.
2. Create nested folders in the root directory of the external storage drive: first create a folder named DCIM, and then create a folder named 100APPLE inside it (i.e. DCIM/100APPLE/ nested folders, not a single folder named "DCIM/100APPLE").
3. Copy the exported .JPG and .MOV file pairs into this 100APPLE folder.
4. Plug the drive into your iPhone, open the iOS Photos App, and navigate to the "Import" tab to import them cleanly as native Live Photos!

Method 2: LAN ZIP Download & Conversion Apps (Wireless Alternative)

1. Open the local server URL on your iPhone's browser, and click "Download All" to download the ZIP package, then extract it in the Files app.
2. Since iOS does not support linking separate JPG/MOV pairs directly from the Files app, download a utility like intoLive (free in the App Store), import the extracted .MOV, and save it back to your gallery as a Live Photo.

Importing Motion Photos to Android

Android uses the Google Motion Photo standard. Unlike Apple's multi-file container, Android motion photos are packaged into a single file, making them very easy to share:

1. Export: Make sure the export format under Settings in the desktop client is set to Google Motion Photo. This produces a single .jpg file (with embedded MP4 video binary at the end).
2. Transfer: Send this .jpg directly to your Android device via LAN browser download, USB cable, or any file manager.
3. Play: Open the photo in Google Photos or the Android system Gallery (Huawei, Xiaomi, etc.). Tap the "Motion" play icon or long-press to enjoy the animated photo.
